Once Upon a Time, I Was a New Mom
Yep…It was a long time ago! Before the days of being able to search Google for answers to pressing matters like “why is my kids poop blue” and “how to get a raisin out of the nose”. Heck, it was even before I could quickly text a girlfriend to see if she had any teething gel I could borrow (of course that’s frowned on now, like so many other archaic things we used to do!).
So what’s my point for bringing up how inconvenient my early mothering days were? It’s that, even though I had to pick up the phone, I had a few other moms I could turn to for answers about “is this normal?”, “will it pass?”, “what should I use?”. Plus it was comforting hearing from other moms that were going through the same trials that I was. I WAS NOT ALONE!
Since I started blogging I have met so many other moms that post about all things babies, kids, family, marriage & divorce, amazing hacks & DIY ideas, and so much more. So many of these amazing women make themselves available to their followers through social media. They share their daily trials & triumphs. They ask you to share your experiences so they can laugh & also cry with you.
Feeling connected and accepted is such an important part of motherhood. Instead of randomly Googling, I’d love to connect you with some awesome moms that offer so much experience & wisdom through their websites, social media, and interacting with their followers.
Let me introduce some other great moms to you!
